Duties and Responsibilities: |
Cook County seeks a Solid Waste Coordinator to supervise the solid waste facility regulatory, inspectional and enforcement unit, as well as to lead the County in solid waste policy and planning.

Salary commensurate with experience. Supervisory experience greatly desired.

Qualifications: |
Minimum Qualifications Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree PLUS a minimum of one (1) year of professional work experience in related field OR, an equivalent combination of professional work experience, training and education.
Preferred Qualifications - Master’s degree in urban planning, environmental engineering, or related field. - Five (5) years professional work experience in environmental control solid waste management. |
