Seasonal Natural Areas Restoration Technician

| Salary: | $16-$23 DOE |
| Duties and Responsibilities: | Summer work generally includes the management of invasive species including pulling, cutting, and quite a bit of herbicide use. Reestablish native plant species from seeding and live plantings, and promote them through stewardship/maintenance, and potentially prescribed burning, depending on the weather gods. |
| Qualifications: | Ability to work well with a merry band of restorationists determined to save the world. Looking for energetic employees interested in working outside in beautiful natural areas-and other locations. No prior experience/certifications required to apply, however ideal candidates have an Environmental or Restoration related degree or course of study, restoration experience, Illinois herbicide license, experience with natural areas burns. |
